To clean a cartridge, DO NOT BLOW IN IT. you'll blow salyva onto the pins, which will speed up corosion. It also pushes the dirt further in.what you want to do is take a Q-tip, dip it in some rubbing alcohol and gently wipe it over the pins. Let it dry before you use it againCleaning Cartridges
