I remember sega said that it was 4 times more powerfull than the fastest pentium 2, it's that true??? what do you think??Pc equivalent of dreamcast
Impossible: the Pentium 2 has blast processing!Pc equivalent of dreamcast
Impossible: the Pentium 2 has blast processing!
...hehe...when the sega genesis came out it was offered in the ads with blast processing too...maybe there was a hidden tiny penitium 2 innit before the era of the pentium 2?

Comparing processors is like apples and oranges....there are too many variables about what each can do and what the tasks are. Really the important thing is output.....like look at the PS3.....on paper the processor is killer, but actually using it for games has shown some problems. Graphically the PS3 barely matches the year older 360.Why? The 360's GPU is more powerful and it's more straightforward to work with. The theoretical power of the Cell hasn't proven all that useful. The Dreamcast had one of the last PowerVR GPU's, which was a pre-DirectX 3D card. The Processor was an off the shelf RISC processor. This doesn't compare directly with a PC running on a PowerVR chip (as alot do) though......just look at the games. The point being.....the DC was powerful enough for its time and look at a systems games rather then specs.

What, you still don't own a Sega CD?....uuuuuuhhhhh....What, you waiting for Nintendo to make it?...uuuuuhhhhhh....also LOL@AVGN Sega CD review
The clock speed of the fastest Pentium II was a lot faster than a Dreamcast, but the Dreamcast could do a few times the operations per second.
