I found it funny that the game E.T. for the Atari was used to fill up high ways.
There must be like one million copies deep under the US roads :DThe funny thing that happen to games
That never happened. They were just dumped into a landfill in the desertThe funny thing that happen to games
That never happened. They were just dumped into a landfill in the desert
yep. and this only happened like 25 yrs ago huh? amazing how slow word travels sometimes.................. LOL
That never happened. They were just dumped into a landfill in the desert
Maybe in 200 years someone will find one and a console that still works and play it (that is if the electronics still work). It could be like us finding 60 year old cans of food buried under the ice somewhere in the antarctic, which by the way, would still be perfectly edible.
That never happened. They were just dumped into a landfill in the desert
I remember when I first found out about that. At the time, I thought, ''Why couldn't Atari just recycle the cartridges instead of wasting money on trucks that would dig the landfill and bury the cartridges?'' Even today, I question the logic of Atari's decision.
