Last Gen Console Prices

I currently own both a PS2 and a Wii with backward compatitablility with the Gamecube. I kind of want an original Xbox to play games like Halo 1 %26 2 and other good FPSs. I began searching for Xboxs online and was wondering why they are so much more expensive than the Cube? Also, where would be the best place to get an Xbox?Last Gen Console Prices
They are still really expensive BUT the games are dirt cheap. I don't know why the Xbox is as expensive as it is, but I have a theory....Microsoft never lowered the price because they didn't want people to buy it anymore. They wanted us to pass on it (make it unattractive) and buy a Xbox 360 instead. Last Gen Console Prices
Because people are hacking it and using it as a Media Center. Best place probably ebay because gamestop gets broken ones sometimes.
there just arent that many Xbox1 out there. and people know the 360 is not FULLY Backward compatible. I rarely use mine, but i will keep it for the games that dont work on the Xbox360 (at least not yet). The Warriors is a must have , but the Xbox version only plays on xbox1. same with the midway arcade treasures. they have huge collections of old games , but NOPE cant play them on xbox360 either........ M$ is evil i tell u.
I think you can buy a used xbox at gamestop for about $70 and a gamecube for $40. The price difference is due to the fact that sadly no one wants a GC anymore.
It's because nvidia ceased production of the xbox graphics card. As a result few xboxes were released and the 360 was produced the earliest. The reason the GC is so cheap is because the wii is completely backward compatible.
