My friends and I had Nitro and another one similar to it published by THQ on the PSX and N64. We liked them it at the time, but they were mediocre. I think THQ published a couple more exclusively for the N64, but they were only marginally better. In fact the only wrestling games that I think are still fun were for the NES and Master System.*sense.wcw nitro....omg
I was a big fan of the game back in the day actually. But I liked a lot of crappy games when I was younger.
F YEAH. this game is awesome. I love the taunts on the character select screen... especially the giant's. LOL.
I've played it on the ps1 and it had it's good and bad points. I really liked the FMV intros and the commentary was pretty funny. A bit clunky compared to now, but all those games were until WCW Thunder made it easier to play.

I did not play WCW Nitro yet. I played WCW Thunder, few times. It was really worst wrestling game for Playstation. I was renting WWF Smackdown as I predicted it was also worst because WCW Thunder and WWF Smackdown were published by same company- THQ. I found out that it was improving better than WCW Thunder.
