About the guitar for GH3 for ps2

I just bought the guitar for GH3, but I can't find the other ones for GH. My question is: Can I use the GH3 guitar for Guitar Hero 1, 2 , Rocks the 80's and maybe Aerosmith?About the guitar for GH3 for ps2
Yes. I use my GH2 guitar to play all the games. GH, GH2, 80's, GH3. I'm sure Aerosmith and 4 will be compatible as well. About the guitar for GH3 for ps2
COOL! But still... Why are they still making new and new guitars?
For the people who don't have any of the Guitar Hero games yet, or maybe want a second guitar to play with friends I guess. I have the wireless that came with GHIII but I like the feel of the one that came with GHII, so I just use that one. By the way the GH guitars for PS2 work on Rock Band for PS2.
