I'm playing FFI on the PS1. I just went to sage's cave to get the Earth Rod, but when I go back to that plate in Terra cavern, it says ''a mysterious stone blacks my path.'' I've read some walkthroughs, and all they say is to ''use'' the Earth rod. How do I use it to advance?Can any one help me? I'm stuck in Final ...

um check the faq..... i remember vaguely you have to go to the earth cave, get the ruby, feed it to the titan in sardas cave so he will let you pass. go talk to sarda (the sage) he will give you the earth rod, go back to the earth cavern and either just walk up to it and press the ''action'' button or try using it from the item menu
I've done all that, but nothing happens.
