i played and finished P3 (the ending was lovely by the way). right now i'm keeping an eye on FES. i've read in some reviews that there are two separate chapters in FES, one is the main game (which is the same as P3) and an additional chapter which aegis is the main character. is aegis able to use different weapons other than guns or cannons? is she able to switch personas? are social links still available with aegis? will the additional chapter also has schools, day, and night cycles? Also, will FES be able to continue or use the NEW GAME PLUS mode created by the original P3?so hows persona 3 FES?

There is still the velvet room and fusing, and switching personas, but no more compendum. It's pure grinding, but it resolves alot of the questions around p3. Aigis also only uses guns, but it helps when sneaking up behind shadows.FES will be able to continue the new game plus, and you also ahve a option to play hardmode. There are a few more personas, and 1 new S.Link in FESso hows persona 3 FES?
A little clearing up you can use a persona 3 file...but it does not allow you to continue the game. All that you get is your money and items imported for the item synthesis in FES...is FES worth it I'd say yes. The extra S. Link, new personas (mara lmfao), weapon synthesis, and the answer make it all worth the price...plus come on you paid 60 dollars for P3 and FES is only half that? I kept all the extras and sold P3 back and it paid for over half of FES so unless you're a nut job collector then well I'd just sell P3 back and get FES in its place after all having bothing games isn't going to do much for you in the long run...
the main story is the same but you have a few new missions ,and special clothes(of the tipe that make your characters say-whaaat,you expect me to wear that!) really change the look of your character. there is alsou a hard mode. the question and thing you learn in class have changed and a few social link conversations have been redone(and you need a little les time to level them up). the altar at the temple makes your friendship stronger, but makes it turn night, the devil arcana is now in the mall at night, and there are a few new details(the important things have been metioned on the other posts) (unlike final fantasy X-2) the STORY of aegis is a fantastic continuation, but the gameplay is a step back, you can summon a lot of personas(even the new ones),and you have a new character, you have to exploring a place that is like tartarus and visit a few other places but there is nothing else,no social links,no day limit, your characters never get sick or tired. I will say that if you like persona 3 you should think twice if this things are important enough to buy itif you like a lot/love persona 3 you should get it right now

hehe I thought you would say that, like me you love persona 3. This is the first game in years that I played every free minute of time that I had until I finished itwell it's not so bad that you have bought metal gear the essentials, this are 3 amazing games for a ridiculous price.persona 4 will be released at the end of the year FOR PS2 this are great ,specially since games like disgaea 3 are going to be released for ps3 even known that a ps2 has more than enough potential to handle such games
all i can say its sweet and i havent finish the game yet im still in the SMTDDS2

The game is coming out in Japan in about a month. Now look at the history of SMT games being released (this applies to most RPGs in general): both P3 and P3 FES came to the US a year after the Japanese release, while DDS 1%262, and Nocturne all came here around 9 months after the Japan release. Don't expect P4 to be here anytime this year (presuming Atlus or someone else makes the decision to localize and publish it). Based on the current trend, I don't forsee it until sometime around spring next year.As for your comment on Disgaea 3, apparently the PS2 doesn't have what NIS needs to do what they want. This is from an interview at hardcoregamer magazine with Jack Niida, Marketing manager at NIS America:''HGM: Why the jump to the PS3 for this iteration of Disgaea? Jack Niida: The jump to PS3 was mainly due to the developmental limits of the PS2 system. Many people might not realize it, but compared to the PS3, the PS2 has a limited amount of memory that can be used to process 2D info, thus limiting the creativity of the developers. The PS3 allowed us to expand what we could express within the 2D format and further evolve the game system. The PS2's a great platform, but in order to make a truly fun game, the PS3 was necessary. I'm just starting Persona3 and I really enjoy it. Once the game starts flowing it is great. Kinf of boring in the beginning, but most RPGs are like that. I am swapping time between this and DDS1. When I finish them, I'll go for DDS2. I wish they would move to PS3 for Persona 4. A PS3 SMT game would be great.
anyone knows that the pal version of persona 3 works on pal 60 gb ps3? thanks a lot.

okay okay .. i have it!!! pal persona 3 works on pal euro 60 gb ps3 .. coool!thanks anyway.
This may just be me, but I think they may have toned down the difficulty of FES's version of The Journey as compared to the original.Example: The first boss, the bird trio on the fifth floor of Tartarus, were tremendously hard for me in the original (they even KO-ed Junpei once). However, in FES, while still pretty tough, they weren't nearly as overpowered. Then again, I DID equip my party with the good weapons/armor from Kurosawa's sho in FES, so yeah. :/But yeah, FES would be a good buy, but it can be pretty challenging at times.
get it. lol

[/QUOTE]no, I don't have a ps3, and if sony continues doing thing like this my first game for ps3 will be final fantasy XIII...platinum. I'm planing on buy one once sony decides to do a pack for a lower price, with a good game and includes a dual shock 3(here in Europe the pack with MGS4 has only a sixaxis and the dual shock hasn't been released). Thanks to a great collection of games for ps2 and my xbox 360 I will survive this hard time. because I thought that the pack with MGS4 would include a dual shock,I have enough money to buy one right now.
