Super Mario RPG is an amazing game. Anybody who owns a SNES needed and still needs to own that game. Truly one of the greatest SNES games of all time.Super Mario RPG
With that being said WHY THE HELL IS IT NOT ON VC!!! It's such a good game, better than the Paper Mario's in my opion.

I liked the graphics and the reflex button mashing was a nice way to make it funner than your normal classic rpg which uses boring trashy menu driven combat. I could play through that game a second time if I had it because I barely remember anything about it lol. I've never got to play paper mario or anything of the other rpg-esque mario games since then and I would love to.
I don't care what any of you say. Mario RPG was way better than any of the Paper Mario's. Let me go on record saying, I played and beat every Paper Mario, and loved them, but still not better than Mario RPG!
its in my top rpg's of all times....i remember when it came out and the graphics where unpresidented for the system.....YEAAAHAA mallow was a cry baby though ...odin would disaprove of him
Dude, I hated Mellow, I was alwasy rollin with Mario, Geno, and Bowser. That was a badass team. Rember the battle with the Axem Rangers....(power rangers on meth) and the secret casino. I rember on the Davy Jones battle, I would always let him kill mario because I didnt want to go one and one with him.
I've finished paper mario on GC and I must admit that I liked SMRPG a lot more. There's no doubt that paper mario is an awesome game with all the stuff they added, but playing SMRPG was a better experience to me because of it's ''magic'' and the fact that it was the very best at the time. I finished SMRPG at least 4 times and I'm not planning on playing paper mario soon.
Its my favorite SNES game. I've played through that game so many times, just to complete every little side-quest.

I consider Mario RPG to be the greatest video game of all time. I have played that game 30-40 times and it just doesn't get old.

Personally I think the Paper Mario series wrecked what could have been the greatest video game series of all time. I liked the first one, but it was nothing compated to RPG. The newest one for the Wii is just terrible.
